The Boutique collection has some gorgeous stamps, papers and embellishments.
This simple card is made using the cardboard cut-out, "sweet", from the Boutique Compliments, the Bunches of Love stamp set and an acetate sheet. Often referred to as clear PVC front binding covers, available from places like Officeworks.
The acetate helps support the "sweet" cut-out and gives the card some strength.
I made a variation of this card for a class recently and used a Cricut cut word instead of the complements.
I was a bit of a challenge for some to cut the card after perfecting the watercolour effect the stamp set gives. A little bit of encouragement and they were surprised with the outcome and loved the card.
Sometimes trying something new, even if its uncomfortable, creates amazing results.
This is the same card using a "Hello" cut on the Cricut.
