I've been playing with the Central Park Card-making and Scrapbooking stamp sets for classes and put together these two cards. This stamp set came with great timing, we've had two new neighbours move in recently so guess who's getting a card in their mailbox :D
This first card was made using the Central Park Scrapbooking stamp set and paper pack. Its a popular style of card right now. I've added a strip of Bashful glitter cardstock and tied some twine around it. The colour on the edge of the sentiment was created by scraping the edge over an ink pad. Its a great way to create a boarder without adding another layer to a card.
"Congratulations on your home" card was stamped with the Central Park Card-making stamp set using a masking technique. When I first saw these cute little houses it reminded me of the line drawn art journals I admire so much.
If you're new to masking I highly recommend giving it a try. It's so much fun and the results are nearly always different. I made a quick video on how to mask and combine another technique, Eclipse cards, to show you how easy and effective it can be. Click below or visit my IGTV channel
