I love how easy these window cards were to make. During a 5 for 5 session (check out the events page for more info on that) a friend and I wanted to make something a little different. She spotted some window cards on Pinterest and we got creating.
Using circle thin cuts for the windows and scalpel and metal ruler for precision cutting the cassette tape out and acetate for the window, we ended up making these cards cute cards.
I've been playing with the Central Park Card-making and Scrapbooking stamp sets for classes and put together these two cards. This stamp set came with great timing, we've had two new neighbours move in recently so guess who's getting a card in their mailbox :D
This first card was made using the Central Park Scrapbooking stamp set and paper pack. Its a popular style of card right now. I've added a strip of Bashful glitter cardstock and tied some twine around it. The colour on the edge of the sentiment was created by scraping the edge over an ink pad. Its a great way to create a boarder without adding another layer to a card.
